Note: The poetry luncheons on the 8th and 22nd are full. But we have added this last gathering for those who missed out on the earlier dates.

This will be the last of our autumn series.

Here is an invitation to gather with myself, Candice, and Alissa Price, aka The Contemplative Cook, over a delicious lunch to consider, through the artistry of poetic language, how we may find sacredness and compassion in the most ordinary of circumstances in our every day lives. And how in doing so, we may infuse our homes and communities with compassion, serenity and a kind of light heartedness that does not dismiss the sorrows of our hearts, but allows for illuminating the numinous in their midst.

The gathering takes place in Candice’s home in the beautiful rural township of Mulmur, about an hour and a half north of Toronto, Canada.

See details in original invitation below, a few remarks from those who attended the gathering on November 8th, and the luncheon menu.

RSVP by November 22 to thecontemplativecook@gmail.com or call (705) 627 - 4946

The food was full of nourishment on so many levels, not just nourishing the body, but also our souls. You two are a force in the world.

Your poetry luncheon was wonderful. You filled me up with your love, your affection, your wisdom, your poetry and your beautiful lunch. It was very special.

Thank you for the amazing food and the poetry discussion - both of which I found deeply meaningful - it was a little oasis of peace, in the midst of the chaos that surrounds us these days!
— Karin K.
I wanted to let you know what a refreshing effect your gathering had on my creativity. The food was beautiful and delicious. And so was the food for the mind!
